Poor, Poor Pitiful (and Stupid) Me

| | Comments (0)

Yesterday I got an e-mail from a university client that I had worked for during May and June. I had not spoken to her since I completed the assignment about 3 weeks ago, at which time I mailed in my invoice. Actually, I had initially faxed my invoice, but the university bureaucracy insisted on a signed original. At any rate, client was e-mailing me to say that she had not received my invoice and was I OK?

Aacckkk, what a dunce I am. Most of the time I send an invoice via e-mail or fax and then follow up with the client to make sure it was received. But this time I got busy and forgot to check on it. So I will likely have to wait at least another 30 days until I receive payment -- a substantial sum of money. I'm not a happy camper.

Speaking of unhappy, the site that plagarized my material has not yet taken down the page. I've given them a deadline of midnight on Tuesday before I take further action.

The week is not starting off well...
