I am doing a piece for the AAGP enewsletter about plagiarism based upon the recent postings on the CharityChannel. It will be short and I will likely not cite specific posts or names (if I do, I will clear it with you and others). I did contact Steve Nill about citing the CharityChannel Archives and he gave me a suggested format.
However, my reason for contacting you now is that in the posting by Kurt Moore, he refers to your putting a copyright notice on your website. To me, this seems like appropriate move given the subsequent postings. Yet I could not find any copyright posting on your website. Did I miss it or is it in some spot I overlooked?
I don't have a website and don't anticipate putting one up. But having come out of academia, I am perhaps overly sensitive to plagiarism. Some of the other postings spoke to academia and even whether using parts of our own or an agency's previous grants was plagiarism. I plan to also incorporate those ideas into my article - without plagiarizing of course.

Heaven is missing an ANGEL! Because YOU are here to help us POOR mortals. Today is Tuesday OCT. 7, 2003 7am. I've been up ALL night researching "FREE MONEY" because I was "PERSONALLY" selected to attend a National Grants Conference seminar Oct.18th-21st 2003 in Phoenix. Deborah: What a WONDERFULLY concise and insightful website. I am a career high school science teacher in an economically challenged rural community, and I spend several dozen hours each year writing for education grants to supplement a less-than-desirable school budget for my courses. I decided I needed help in my process skills, and so yesterday i attended the introductory National Grants Conferences held in a nearby city. Although it was marginally informative, I was disappointed that it all came down to a BIG push (i.e.$900 for 6 months) claiming they would help me all through the grant-writing process. As an educator, I was saddened that THEY put such a price on MY success. I am hoping to create a mobile/field trip-focused not-for-profit learning academy that would use travel and authentic learning to motivate underachieving students who find little success in more traditional modes. Any suggestions?

I am a Youth director at my local church and I have always wanted to open a youth center. I am raising a concern rather than a any comments/suggestions. A social work organisation named as "Society for People in Needs (SPIN)" is working with poor and marginalised children and people. Particularly, SPIN is making efforts towards improving the quality of life of poor and towards the rights of poor children. Likewise it is helping the sick people, who are not able to get treatment due to their poverty. It arranges dispose of the dead body of poor people, who dies and do not have relatives/supprters. some time it face sever problems like operation cases, but it does not have enough budget to perform the case. SPIN is a member based voluntary organisation. It is implementing its program activities through its members fee. So it is trying to get small support of fund. It has submitted proposals in different organisations. But, it has not get success of getting of any support from any organisation, except some time a little support from some individuals. So it is kindly requested for appropirate suggestions/guide or searching/finding support. If it will be solved, SPIN will be very greatful to you.

Our goals are to raise approx. $750.000 to build a larger than life size Memorial to Honor the Assault Squad that captured Mount Suribachi on Iwo Jima, Japan.
They raised the First Foreign Flag Ever Raised on the Japan Homeland in World War II on 23 February in 1945.
A larger Flag replaced the small 28 inch by 58 inch Flag that was off of the USN Transport Ship Mazzula that was damaged at Pearl Harbor on 7 December, 1941.
A photograph of the replacement Flag being raised, that was taken by the Associated Press Photographer Joseph Rosenthal, received all of the Honors.
It is the most copied photograph ever, sculpted and cast in Bronze, and became the USMC Icon on Arlington Ridge in Washington, D. C.

Deborah, you are a true blessing. A few friends of mine had told me about a "National Grants Conferences" seminar that occured this last weekend. The only things that stopped them from paying the $900 fee to sign up was lack of funds and a condescending tone from one of the speakers. My friends had felt the pressure that this was an opportunity that just could not wait.
After hearing this tale that screamed 'scam' and 'too good to be true', I decided to do a little research and happened upon your site. I was pleased to find factual 'common sense' information that was easy to understand. It confirmed my suspicions NGC. I plan to tell my friends and direct them to your site.
We live in a world that plagues us with scams of one sort or another. A good many of them plague the internet through email in the form of 'hoaxes', 'Investment Opportunity' ads, or 'Home Buisiness Opportunity' ads. I don't know much about the last two items, but I've seen plenty of 'Hoaxes' than I have ever cared to. Would you be so kind as to put a link to www.hoaxbusters.org? The site is sponsored by the Department of Energy and has been a good resource to me concerning hoaxes and email scams. I think your readers would benifit greatly.

I like your site but am having a problem searching for my special need. I was injured on the job in April 2002, here it is the end of September and I am fixing to lose everything! I've been to two doctors, one tells me I need a hip replacement and the other tells me I have pinched nerves in my neck and back. Workers Comp still pulled all my benefits, I can't get the therapy, medications, operations or any income. Praise the Lord for your being such a caring person and giving out information that will help me in my quest to find grants for the building of a new church. I was feeling hopeless until I pulled up your site on a search engine. Unfortunately, my Pastor has already paid money ($895.00) to go that National Grants Conference. They really pumped him up , after going he gave me and some other members those books to read and they were just full of air. He called them back thinking they were going to give us a list of places to get grants, they informed him that he will have to do it himself!
