GOVERNMENT AGENCIES THAT GIVE GRANTS

Most - but not all - government agency grant applications (Requests for Applications - RFAs) can now be found on the Grants.gov Website, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for government contracts are published on FedBizOpps.

However, it is often useful to visit an agency's website where you might find specific information, tools and guidance on how to work with that particular government agency. You may also find agency RFAs posted on these websites.

Below is an alphabetical listing of various agencies as well as some individual bureaus, departments or divisions. At these websites, you can find information on government grants related to agriculture, arts, defense, diplomacy, education, employment, energy, environment, family and youth, fish and wildlife, food and nutrition, health, healthcare, homeland security, hoursing, humanities, international development, labor, land use, law and justice, medicine, mental health, nursing, occupational safety and health, research, roads and highways, science, substance abuse, technology, telecommunications, traffic safety, and more.

If the agency or bureau you are looking for isn't listed here, do a Google search for it. Then, at the agency website, you can search for grant information by using the terms "grants" or "cooperative agreements" or "acquisition".
